Connectivity

The Mazda3 comes as standard with DAB radio and advanced connectivity system, which integrates online social media and internet radio using Aha™, the cloud-based automotive internet connectivity platform, and Stitcher™, the on-demand internet radio service app. Using a smartphone connected to the system via Bluetooth®, occupants will have safe and intuitive real-time access to infotainment services from Aha™ and Stitcher™ via the 7-inch Colour touch-screen.

Cabin Design

With a substantially evolved interior the Mazda3 features a wide range of enhancements around the cabin, including clearer instrument cluster, revised switch panel, newly designed door handles and an improved dashboard decoration panel. Another highlight is a new high quality leather steering wheel design that enhances feel and style, plus if combined with leather seats, it’s heated.

Enhanced cabin storage and colour head-up display

Thanks to the adoption of an electronic parking brake, space has been freed up for a twin cup holder with an accordion style sliding cover, while wider door pockets further increase the amount of cabin storage. Standard on Sport Nav grade, the enhanced head-up display is now colour for improved resolution and brightness, and for the first time it incorporates Traffic Sign Recognition.

Equipment

Generous equipment levels across the range mean all cars feature alloy wheels, air conditioning, driver and passenger seat height adjustment, tyre pressure monitoring, power windows front and rear, 7-inch Colour touch-screen, DAB radio, USB/iPod® connectivity and Bluetooth® hands-free system as standard. Flagship Sport Nav models benefit from a reversing camera, smart keyless entry and Bose audio.

Luggage space

With one of the largest boot capacities in the sector, the Mazda3 provides 364-litres of baggage space, and with the standard 60:40 split rear seats folded, can swallow 1,263-litres of luggage. Opting for the stylish Mazda3 Fastback doesn’t mean losing out when it comes to carrying capacity either, as its boot volume of 419-litres ensures it betters the seats up capacity of class-leading hatchbacks.
